SMM April 30 News:

EVA: This week, the price of PV-grade EVA ranged from 11,000 to 11,700 yuan/mt, with the average price falling by nearly 280 yuan/mt WoW. Prices for foam-grade and cable-grade EVA also declined significantly. Transaction pace slowed, and the market was filled with wait-and-see sentiment. The installation rush on the demand side is entering its final stage, with demand slowing significantly. Additionally, there is an expectation of a decline in the new order prices for film in May. The narrowing price spread between film and resin is forcing the raw material side to make concessions. As demand gradually weakens, EVA prices are expected to remain under pressure.

Film: The mainstream price range for EVA film is 13,300-13,500 yuan/mt, and for EPE film, it is 15,200-15,500 yuan/mt, with prices remaining stable. Module prices continue to decline, and demand is gradually weakening. The downward trend in the price of PV-grade EVA on the cost side provides cost support for the new order prices of film in May. The new order prices for film in May are still being negotiated, with an expectation of a decline.

POE: The domestic delivery-to-factory price of POE remains stable at 12,000-14,000 yuan/mt. Despite maintenance at some petrochemical plants, under the dual impact of the installation rush in the PV industry nearing its end and the release of new capacity, the price of PV-grade POE is expected to come under pressure.

[SMM PV News] Armenia Hits 1.1 GW Solar Capacity,
Armenia’s cumulative solar capacity has surged to 1.1 GW following the addition of approximately 615 MW in 2025. This rapid expansion has pushed solar's share of electricity generation to around 15%, effectively meeting the country's 2030 target years ahead of schedule. The growth is heavily driven by a net-metering scheme supporting over 50,000 autonomous producers (totaling 650 MW), though the government ended loan subsidies for rooftop solar in July to shift focus toward battery storage.
